Justice workers sit-in in Foggia: “Immediate stabilization, no to the dispersion of skills”

M orning of protest in Foggia, where on Monday 30 June, from 9.30 to 11.00, workers of the Ministry of Justice will gather in a sit-in in front of the Palace of Justice , as part of a national mobilization that will simultaneously involve all the courts in Italy. The initiative, promoted by FP CGIL Foggia and UILPA Foggia , aims to bring back to the center of public debate some crucial issues for judicial personnel , starting with the stabilization of temporary workers hired through competitions linked to the PNRR .
“Without stabilization, valuable skills are lost”Among the main issues raised, the lack of guarantees for PNRR workers , selected to contribute to the modernization of the judicial system but still without a stabilization path . A situation that, according to the unions, puts the efficiency and innovation of the justice system at risk: "An immediate solution is needed - underline Elena Monticelli , provincial secretary of FP CGIL, and Edoardo Filippone , general secretary of UILPA - to avoid the loss of essential skills acquired in recent years".
Supplementary contract, careers and funds: other demandsIn addition to the issue of precarious workers, the sit-in also intends to ask for the renewal of the National Collective Agreement , the unblocking of career progressions and greater investments to enhance the professionalism present within the judicial administration. "It is no longer tolerable - the unions say - that a sector so strategic for the stability of the State is left at the mercy of short-sighted political choices and insufficient resources. We want a modern, efficient justice system capable of responding to the needs of citizens".
Call for participationThe call for participation was addressed to all the staff of the Justice sector , who will be able to join by using the hours of the union assembly . The aim is to give a strong signal to the Government and the Ministry , so that concrete and urgent interventions are adopted for the relaunch of the sector.
